By combining real-time market data, weather updates, expert advice, and IoT sensor integration, Krisi Connect offers farmers data-driven tools to improve crop yields, optimize farming practices, and access fair markets directly. The platform features seamless integration with IoT devices—such as pH and soil moisture sensors connected through Arduino—to provide live insights into soil health. AI-powered machine learning models trained with Ultralytics’ YOLOv8 enable crop disease detection and smart farming recommendations. LangChain-powered conversational AI offers personalized farming advice through natural language interactions. Built as a Progressive Web Application (PWA) using Laravel for the backend and Python APIs for data processing, Krisi Connect is accessible across devices, with offline capabilities and push notifications. The platform supports multiple languages including Nepali and English, fostering an inclusive community where farmers can connect, share knowledge, and transact directly with buyers—eliminating middlemen and ensuring fair pricing.
